Afshaan Rahman is a printmaker and jewelry designer. 

After years focused on printmaking (particularly lithographic and silkscreened prints) and drawing Afshaan Rahman developed a graphic visual language drawn from intrinsic inspirations. While her work was included in gallery shows and collected, she felt that many of her artistic interests were quiescent. In an attempt to further expand her fine art ability while exploring and embracing all aspects of her creativity, her namesake collection AFSHAAN RAHMAN was born. 

Afshaan designs atypical objects inspired by the natural and industrial world. She has an affinity for asymmetry and enjoys working with a variety of materials, often combining metal, clay and crystals to create carefully constructed pieces.  

She currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
